Actual product functionality

Purpose-built publishing operations.

These are functions available in the underlying Postiz application and integration that have been configured on this installation. Access to individual platforms depends on OAuth permissions and platform policies.

OAuth connection

TikTok Login Kit grants limited access to explicitly approved TikTok accounts. The web application receives a callback and stores credentials server-side.

Account identification

Profile name, avatar and username support selecting the correct connected account. Additional statistics can be retrieved for reporting.

Media & captions

Users of this deployment can upload videos to the authorized workspace, write descriptions, and inspect content in the editor.

Postiz drafts

Save a local draft without uploading anything to TikTok. This is separate from TikTok's own inbox/draft upload feature.

Scheduling

A queued job is dispatched by Postiz at a specified time. Its completion is tracked separately from the scheduled state.

Content Posting API

TikTok supports video.publish and video.upload features. Unreviewed app credentials are limited to private content.

The present installation is not an unrestricted public service. New third-party user registrations are not offered. No permission to publish another creator's content is implied.
